Roofing contractor in Totton

A genuine emergency receives a telephone callback within 24 hours. The initial visit is a make-safe: the team refixes displaced tiles, covers open lead flashing and prevents further water entering the roof before the full repair is scheduled. Totton is built at a low density for its size, so the team can usually place access equipment on the property’s own ground. The emergency roof repair page sets out the make-safe procedure.

Yes. Slipped tiles, cracked verge mortar, lifted lead flashing, gutter clears and single chimney pots are everyday work on Totton roofs. A director surveys and quotes each of them in writing, in the same way as a full re-roof. At Eling the clay tile and the slate sit on separate houses in one row, so a repair is matched to the individual roof. On the estate roofs a slipped tile is refixed and the batten beneath probed for rot.

Yes. Storm damage, fire, accidental damage and impact from falling branches are handled as insurance work. The claim is supported by a written report and dated photographs of the damage, and a director corresponds with the loss adjuster directly where the insurer appoints one. The outer Totton estates adjoin woodland and open farmland, so branch impact to ridge tiles and gutter runs is a recurrent cause of claims.

A telephone call or the contact form is the next step, and a director books the survey. The director measures each elevation and records the pitch, the access arrangements and the condition of the lead and the verges. The quote is issued in writing, and the team begins the work on an agreed date. The same procedure applies across every part of Totton.
